NEW MOON

To the Druid, the New Moon is a time of healing, renewal and divination. It is the time of the Crone aspect of the Goddess. It is a time of going inward and looking at yourself.

As Priestess and Priest says, As above, so below, As the universe, so the soul; We conjure and seal thee, O circle of power. That thou be a place that is not a place and a time that is not a time Between all world and beyond. Let this circle be sealed anew!

Priest says: Dark is the night as we reach this turning point. Here is a time of death; yet a time of birth. This is the ending and the beginning, the death before new life, a journey yet to start. Now on the ebb tide the secrets of the shoreline are uncovered by the retreating tide. The Moon is hidden, but the faintest of stars are revealed. Those who have the will to see, may read the fates and know the mysteries. As the Mother enters the kingdom of the Father, in silence and stillness, all is things are possible. We meet in the time of the Lady, to touch the deep powers of the Father.

All says: Let us give our strength, and in return see rebirth. Behold the lady of darkness; Mother, Grandmother, Old yet everyoung. Our Lady of the Darkened Moon, Queen of all enchantments, the wind is crying though the trees and we invoke thee to appear.The cares of the day departed and the relms of night belong to three,and we in love and kinship join, with all things wild and free. As power of magic around us move, now let times self dissolve and fade, Here in the place between all worlds, May we be one with nature made. Thy consort is the Old One whose love make living sweet. Powers of life and love, be here as merrily we meet.

For You the Circle round we tread and unto you the wine we pour. The sacred Old One's of this Land, we invoke by ancient lore. By the Lady's moon and magic spell, by all the secrets of the night, dreams and desires and mystery, borne on the star's bright light. Now may we hear or may we see or may we know within the heart, a token of true magic made, e'er from this circle we depart.

Pristess says: Here me now! Honour me and love me always. As the wheel turns we see birth, death, and rebirth. From this, know that everything is a new beggining, every stop, a fresh starting point. Maiden, Mother , Crone, I am all of these and more. Whenever you have need of anything, call upon me. I and my lord, are here- for i abide within you all. Evan at the darkest of times, when there seems no single spark to warm you and the night is blackest of all, I am here , watching and waiting to grow with you, in strength and love. I am she who is at the begining and end of all time. So mote it be. Guide leads meditation: Imagine a soft glowing sphere of white light appearing behind you. As you study this sphere of light it seems to grow stronger, pulsing with your heartbeat. You imagine the sphere is beginning to move in a clockwise direction, slowly at first but then gaining speed until it is a solid band of light. You see the sphere become taller, touching the ground, and extending over your head until it joins above the center of the circle. Now in your mind push the bottom of the circle of light out to the limits of the circle. Picture in your mind this cone of white light as being impenetrable, no ill thoughts or negativity may enter. This cone of white light is your armor, no harm may enter.

Imagine before you a pale blue ball of light. As you study this light it seems to grow, getting stronger. You can see other balls of light in front of all other members of the circle. Take your ball and start it moving around the circle in a clockwise direction. Slowly increase the speed of the clockwise movement until all the balls become a blur of soft blue light.

Take a thread of this blue light and send it to the person directly across from you. Then take other threads and send them in a clockwise direction to all the others in the circle.

As the names are read, see a tree with green branches, connect a blue light streamer with the person's name on it to a tree branch. May sure you put a streamer for every one on the list in this tree.

WORK TO BE DONE AND READING OF THE HEALING LIST

Now see the tree with all the blue streamers fluttering from the branches. Feel a strong warm wind come from behind you and blow the streamers up into the sky. Know that the streamers will flutter down from the sky and enfold the person in the blue light of healing.

Now pull back, in a clockwise direction, the threads you have woven with the other in this circle. (pause for a minute) Now take a little of this blue light for yourself and you own healing and let the rest go back to where it came from. (pause)

Now bring down the circle of white light, see it go back to a band of white light, slow down this band until you can see the separate balls of white light. Now allow your ball of white light to return from where it came.
