to the Mystic Realms'
HERBAL GARDEN
Welcome to my Herb Garden! There is something for everyone here, herbal medicine,
folklore, magic, cooking! Take a walk thru the garden and examine the plants and trees. If
you have any questions on these or any other herb, email me and I will try to find an
answer.
Also you will find a few articles on flowers. Some have no more purpose than as warning
of their poisonous nature. Why you wonder include those, you ask? Well, I have a couple of
friends who think it is really cool to eat flowers, it doesn't matter if they know what
the flower is or not. And because I use live in the desert and I have seen some of my
neighbors children playing with a couple of the wildflowers. The parents have no idea
just how dangerous these pretty flowers can be if they were put in the mouth. Like anything be knowledgeable about what
you are doing and if you are not sure...well don't use it.
DISCLAIMER!
I am not a doctor or any type of medical person. These file are for informational
purposes only. I make no claim on the effectiveness of the herbs themselves or the medical
properties of the teas. Some of the stuff is medically proven to work and other is
"old tales". If you need medical care see a doctor or a
licensed medical person!
I started this research for my personal health care and because I enjoy make
herbal gifts for people. I have made soap, smell nice oils, sachets, and
flavored candy. There is allot more to herbs than
just what is here. And from personal experience some of them can make you regret taken
them. Some herbs are you have to be very careful of the amounts you use and the amount you
take. Some of herbs I put up here can be deadly if ingested or cause serious physical
harm permently. Buttercups are pretty flowers that look like poppies, and are extremely
poisonous if eaten. Some Hemlocks look allot like carrots.. remember that Hemlock is deadly. Jimson
weed and Locoweed cause perment brain damage. I have seen children playing with both of
these flowers. Both these plants are common in the high deserts of the Southwest.
